Research Description:
David is currently undertaking a PhD on visual perception and action in sport. His research interest centres on how we analyse what we see in a sporting context and what specific information an expert sportperson uses to drive their subsequent action. This also involves discovering which visual parameters are essential for peak performance in a sporting or performance based context. The most directly related research interest is then on how we can best acquire this information in training to enhance sporting performance.
