General Information

There are two avenues of postgraduate study in the School of Optometry and Vision Science.

Graduates in Optometry with a qualification equivalent to the BOptom may enrol in a course of postgraduate study. Options have recently been expanded to include a Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma, as well as the established Master of Optometry.

The second option of postgraduate study is by research. You will be supervised by a staff member with expertise in the area of research, and complete a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy degree. See Research for more information about current active programs of Research in the School.
