Welcome to the UNSW Optometry Clinic at the School of Optometry and Vision Science, University of New South Wales.

The UNSW Optometry Clinic offers comprehensive eye examinations in addition to a variety of specialist clinics. These facilities are available to UNSW staff, students and the general public, in most cases at no charge.

As well as providing excellence in eye care, the clinic is a teaching facility used for educating undergraduate and postgraduate optometry students.

Our recently renovated clinic has state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that provides the best in patient eye health management.

As part of our complete optometric service, we offer a wide selection of fashionable frames and sunglasses as well as contact lens solutions. We provide expert advice on spectacle lenses, contact lenses, low vision aids and occupational eye protection.

During teaching periods, eye examinations are performed by senior optometry students under supervision of qualified experienced optometrists:

Session 1, 4th March to 7th June 2013
Session 2, 5th August to 1st November 2013

During session breaks, Staff Optometrists are available to perform eye examinations. (Medicare required)
